The client picked up a vehicle from Thailand and wanted to do a quick face lift of the front face and do a limited production launch to check the market reaction.
Centroid assisted in creating concepts on the fly and made quick foam models and delivered the final foam model for the client to take it up to batch production.
Foam models – were made by removing the existing facia and filling it with foam blocks and on the concept selected, manual carving on foam was done. The foam was hardened and used as a master to take composite moulds and parts.
